The World of Art… What?

I am a big ancient art nerd…. Honestly, I don’t know all the bells and whistles to it, however, when it comes to watching the history channel I am so on top of it. More and more I see a lack of interest in art history. It’s sad to see that more and more young people getting hyped up over; who slept with who, who is clashing with who in Hollywood. Its like we live in vicariously through others lives.  Our Human nature is to be “known” Right? I think so. So if we can’t “make it big”, we watch others that are “making it big”. We live in fast pace world, with fast pace people.

I love it when I hear someones pass time is enjoyed by reading or writing. I only wish I had time on a rainy day to sit back with a cup of tea or coffee and read a nice book or journal. With two toddlers running around, I just try to keep up with the laundry and that doesn’t always get done or my room that never seems to be a “get-a-way” and has the laundry stored there.  However, That is where I thank God for Television. I know it’s not the best pass time, but I L.O.V.E. The discovery channel and the History channel. I don’t know what I would do without those two channels. I think my head would be filled with goos and ga-ga’s from my kids.  Something about King Tutankhamun, The Bible and other historical articles and information is like fresh chocolate chip cookies and milk to me.

Just thought i would say what is on my Mind:)

Love,

Julia
