Venturing on New Endeavors

I’ve been running around so much,  I can’t believe it has been a month since the “Time Warps” reveal. I’ve finished two new pieces; from the “Reign Collection”.  I really like these two, it’s a start of an entire collection of them… So I will be posting these two new paintings here in the near future.

However, I have ventured on a couple new endeavors; #1)traditional children art. #2) Wall Mural design.  I am So excited for these new avenues I am doing.  One of the Mural opportunity is below, READ THE STORY.

On Saturday I had the privilege of volunteering the Men’s Teen Challenge in Oakland. We had a lot of fun! I went around getting ideas for their mural that I may have the privilege to paint on the wall directly behind the picture with our teen challenge painting team.Maggie Clark took all the pictures as well as organize this team to the Center.  She is one incredible woman of God! She is just so encouraging and I don’t think I have ever seen her without a smile on her face. This experience was so amazing and so uplifting to see how Great Our God really is. Some of these stories were tear jerker’s as you would hear about their lives and of these men who have been through drugs and alcoholism and how this Christ centered organization has helped so many lives! With a 86% success rate, there is no other rehabilitation center like it.  I am so excited about this project!

(This is me and a picture that they really would like to incorporate into the mural.)

Well, I will be back soon to tell you more!

Thanks! Love,

JULIA
